You can talk to PALS who provide confidential advice and support to patients, families and their carers, and can provide information on the NHS and health related matters.
An interpreting service is available throughout wards and departments and can provide translation for any language including British sign language, and can also have any written information translated if required.
Patient and Public Involvement allows patients to be involved in decisions about their care and lets communities be involved in their local health service.
When you come in to hospital you will need to bring with you as follows : Nightwear , dressing Gown and slippers Personal Toiletries , 2 Flannels and Towels. Please check with the ward
Queensgate bus station is a two minute walk from the railway station with buses leaving every ten minutes for the three minute journey. Bus stops are located on Alderman's drive, Midland Road and Thorpe Road.
